ABOUT ME

Catie (Joyce) Millspaugh is a Wardrobe Stylist based in Ithaca, New York.  An expert in creating wardrobes that blend quality, fit, and personality, Catie specializes in styling services customized to your personal lifestyle and budget.

 

Clothing is a form of self-expression. As a child, Catie loved to explore different clothing combinations to see what went together. She was also lucky enough to spend many years watching her great-grandfather work at his sewing machine. As a Master Tailor in NYC, he taught her the importance of fit, attention to detail, and quality over quantity. Catie truly believes every person deserves a wardrobe that is effortless, versatile and makes them feel invincible.  Currently, she works with clients in Ithaca (and the Finger lakes Region), NYC, Philadelphia and New Jersey.

 

 Catie has taught Professional Style workshops to the incoming  MBA programs at Cornell's Johnson School of Business as well as Cornell's M.Eng Program.

 

Catie volunteers with GIAC’s HETP (Hospitality Employment Training Program) to help prepare the candidates for interviews and new jobs and she is an Associate Director for the Franziska Racker Centers. An amazing nonprofit that "supports people with disabilities and their families to lead fulfilling lives by providing opportunities to learn and be connected with others". They have been a part of her life since her sister Annie was born with Downs Syndrome 26 years ago.

 

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Fashion Industry Management and Design from Philadelphia University (formerly Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science). When she is not working with clients, Catie is traveling with her husband and daughters or savoring the amazing wine, food, and scenery of the Finger lakes.
